For those of you who enjoy electronic music, you probably know of Radical Realm or have listened on one of the platforms. It is my ambient music project, for which I often produce with synthesizers and soundscapes. I released 2 10-track albums a few years ago, in June 2017, after my debut E.P. in 2016.
Over the past few months, it has been an interesting challenge to produce music for Ambient Online. Subscribers will receive regular challenges to compose a track by a certain deadline, and with other set limits.
Chris Bryant of Synphaera Records, also known as S1gnsOFL1fe, has been managing the site and growing the ambient communty there for several years now, so there is a great variety of music producers. Among great resources and conversations held there, Synphaera Records has also started a podcast this year.
There is some truly beautiful, enchanting, tranquil and contemplative music to be found.
At the moment, Ambient Online have a discography of 21 compilations. Just playing through one album already takes you on a journey of incredible musical panorama of ambient. There certainly is an ecclectic and diverse range of artists. With never heard before sounds. Each album consists of upward of 40 - 70 tracks, and sometimes as much as 100 different artists. You can listen to the discography here.
My most recent submission for was the Space theme. I named it after a cluster of stars found in the Small Magellanic Cloud galaxy, NGC-346.
